Get excited and get ready as the 2019 Whale Fest is returning this year with lots of events and activities.  The Whale Fest is held all month long in February with weekly events.  

On February 2nd, join in for the Run & Walk For Whales.  This is event both starts and finishes at the Maui Harbor Shops in Maʻalaea.  Donʻt worry if you are not a runner, participants can walk or run and there are different course lengths to accommodate almost anyone.  At the end of the race there will be a host of activities in including live music with reggae singer Marty Dread.

On February 8th, attend the World Whale Film Festival at the Historic Iao Theatre in Wailuku.  The film festival starts at 5:00 pm and features short films focusing on marine life and topics including issues impacting our oceans.  This years theme is "Inspiring Ocean Health Through Waves of Change".  

On February 16th, get your tickets for the Whale Concert Cruise featuring live music performed by John Cruz.  The cruise goes out at 5:00 pm from Lahaina Harbor to watch the humpback whales.  Food and drinks are also provided.

On February 22nd, come out for the Whale Fest celebrations which is teaming up with the Kihei 4th Friday event at the Azeka Shopping Center.  Attendance is expected to exceed 3,000 people from keiki to adults.  There will be a host of vendors on hand selling crafts, exhibits, food trucks, etc.  

February is going to be an exciting month of Whale events and celebrations.  Bring your Aloha and have a lot of fun.
